When we first came to Egypt, Maria and Sophie were almost the first people we got to know, and they welcomed us with open arms. Guro and Sophie has had many playdates and Sophie made sure that Guro found her way around and became secure at school. Maria was very open and welcoming to me. Now it is time for them to leave Egypt, and they will move to Houston. Maria threw a nice goodbye party, and she also celebrated her birthday. Fun night with Latino rythms! Today Guro and Anna had their last playdate with Sophie. We hope they will have a great time in Houston, but it is sad to see them leave. It reminds me that our time to leave is comming up very soon too. Better make the most of the time we have left, as it is very sad to leave the very close friends we have! But, I guess thats just part of the expat life.
