Far into the Egyptian bazar (across from the tourist Khan el Khalili bazar), we finally found the tentmakers market. Me and Inger Anne wanted to buy tents that could also keep the Norwegian rain out. He claimst to have that too, but we are a bit skeptical. But, It should at least keep some light summer rain out. So now we have both ordered a big round tent, and also a small tent for the kids. We also found table clothes with Egyptian patterns. 20 - 40 LE for one. Can't complain too much about that.
We passed the entrance to the Khan el Khalili were the bombing was some weeks earlier. They have now set up big security fences around the bazar, and all need to walk through a scanner. The whole area used to be completely open before the bombing.
